According to statistics of the Ministry of Commerce, the trade volume between the mainland and Hong Kong stood at USD13.64b in January, up 36.3% year-on-year. Among them, export of the mainland to Hong Kong amounted to USD12.79b, up 33.9% year-on-year; and import from Hong Kong USD860m, up 87% year-on-year.

Meanwhile, the trade volume between the mainland and Taiwan was USD10.25b, up 103.7% year-on-year, of which export of the mainland to Taiwan amounted to USD2.09b, up 85.5% year-on-year; and import from Taiwan USD8.16b, up 109% year-on-year.
