To boost consumption, improve energy efficiency, and reduce pollution, the State Council has decided on Tuesday to subsidize the trade-in of old autos and home appliance.

1.  To further increase government subsidy for the trade-in of old automobiles, the government raised this year's total amount of subsidies from 1 billion yuan to 5 billion yuan.

2.  To roughly provide 10% subsidy of the market price, the government has decided to allocate 2 billion yuan this year to subsidize home appliance trade-in.
