China Exim Bank to provide 100 bln yuan credit for AVIC PDF Print E-mail

The Export-Import Bank of China (China Exim Bank) on Thursday signed on 100 billion yuan (14.6 billion U.S. dollars) of loans for the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC).

The credit will be used to support the AVIC's businesses such as exporting high-tech and mechanical products, making overseas investment and importing technologies and equipment in the next five years, said the China Exim Bank in a statement.

 

Established in 1994 and solely owned by the central government, The Export-Import Bank of China (China Eximbank) is a government policy bank under the direct leadership of the State Council. Its international credit ratings are compatible to the national sovereign ratings.

Aviation Industry Corporation of China is a Chinese state-owned company of aviation industry, both military and civilian. On 6 November 2008, China Aviation Industry Corporation I and China Aviation Industry Corporation II officially merged to found Aviation Industry Corporation of China.
