Below are China's retail price indexes by Category: Household Appliances, Music and Video Equipment. It is also divided into Urban and Rural two subcategories. The first chart is monthly data. It defines the same month of previous year as 100. The second chart is aggregated data covering from the year beginning to current month. It defines the same period of previous year as 100.

Even though retail price indexes are highly correlated with CPI by category, they are not the same thing.
