China's total export has been declining since last summer, as can be seen from the following chart. The statistical result for March is not available yet. Even though recent economic news from China are mostly positive, it will need roughly 30% surge for China's export to reach its August 2008 level. Given China's recent policy to stimulate domestic comsumption, the total volume of export may not be as closely related to China's growth as before.
