Recently, according to Shanghai office of the Ministry of Commerce, Shanghai Pudong Entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau issued 10 measures to stable the development of foreign trade: to improve the services and provide facilities for enterprises inspecting; to relief costs and lower export costs; to implement direct release, improving the efficiency of inspection and quarantine; to implement initiatively and promote development of trade in services; to promote integrity, simplify import and exempt from 3C certification procedures; to guide carefully and promote the export expansion of enterprises; to expand opening up and improve foreign trade business environment; to support excellent and strong enterprises and enhance the international competitiveness; to carry out reform and innovation, optimizing investment environment in Pudong; to strengthen the linkage and actively respond to trade volatility. Relevant person in charge said that the 10 measures were not only effective methods to cope with the international financial crisis but also the active steps to service the long-term development in the future and deepen the comprehensive reforms of Pudong.
