According to today's release by China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, the May PMI for manufacturing sectors is 53.1%, 0.4% lower than April, but still the third consecutive month above 50, indicating continued growth of China's economy. The PMI for non-manufacturing is not released yet.
All the components showed some mild variations, with export orders, finished-products inventory, and purchasing price index showed some increase, and the others experienced small decrease. Among the 20 industrial sectors that the index covers, 14 sub-indexes were above 50 and the others were below 50.
