It was known from the Cross-strait Cooperation and Development Forum of Logistics Industry which was held on June 18 that Fujian Province would issue a series of preferential policies to attract Taiwan distribution companies to settle down on the west bank of the Strait.
Wei Zhongde, the principal of Economic Operation Department in Fujian Economic and Trade Commission, said that according to the national plan for industrial restructuring and revitalization, Fujian was organizing and formulating the specific implementation programs to encourage Taiwanese investors to invest logistics infrastructures like ports, terminals and airports and other modern circulation industry, promoting the exchanges and cooperation of circulation associations and enterprises between Fujian and Taiwan.
It was reported that Fujian would publish a series of preferential policies to attract Taiwan distribution companies to settle down on the west bank of the Strait and convert the main wholesale markets along the coast into the bidirectional distributing center of the goods from both sides of the Strait, playing its bi-directional radiating role of commercial and logistics distribution and promoting Fujian enterprises to set up branches and distribution centers in Taiwan. |
