As can be seen from this chart, China's foreign exchange reserve has been treading down about $80 billion recently.

The peak was reached in August with the total forex reserve value of $3.26 trillion.  Since then, the number has been shrinking for 3 of the following 4 months.  At the end of December, the value stood at $3.18 trillion, an $80 billion reduction.
