Harley Seyedin, president of American Chamber of Commerce in South China will lead a delegation composed of representatives from more than 150 multinational enterprises to participate in the 13th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) on September 6-9, 2009 in Xiamen. This is the seventh time for American Chamber of Commerce to attend this investment promotion event with the highest grade and largest scope of the world.
In order to better meet theme of “going out” in this CIFIT, the American Chamber of Commerce in South China will assist the US Embassy in China and the US Consulate General in Guangzhou to jointly organize the “Invest in America” seminar. This is the second investment promotion activity held by the US government during the CIFIT. The seminar, which will be held on September 9 and aims to enabling Chinese enterprises to understand the investment environment in the US, will demonstrate the functions and services of the US Embassy in China and the American Chamber of Commerce in South China in promoting the investment and introduce relevant information in terms of investment in the US, such as laws and regulations, investment climate, taxation policy, investment strategy, business model and capital returns. This will be an excellent opportunity for Chinese enterprises which have global strategy to open up the US market. |
