China added 59 GW of electric power in the first 10 months PDF Print E-mail

Revenue for China's software industry in the first ten months reached 769 billion yuan (or 112.6 billion U.S. dollars), up 20.2 percent from a year earlier, the Ministry of Information and Technology (MITT) said in a statement on its website Tuesday.

In another statement posted on the same day, the Ministry said China's total investment in electric power was 232.3 billion yuan for the first 10 months.  Meanwhile, 58.57 GW (million kilo watts) of new capacity was added into production, among which 12.75 GW was water power, 41.29 GW was fire power, and 4.45 GW was wind power.
