MOFCOM: China Extends Anti-dumping Measures on Phenol PDF Print E-mail

On January 31, 2009, the Ministry of Commerce of China, at the invitation of Phenol industry in China Mainland, released the announcement that made final review on the anti-dumping measures on phenol imported from Japan, South Korea, the U.S. and Taiwan.

On January 30, the Minister of Commerce released NO.2 Announcement of 2010. According to the review, if anti-dumping measures were discontinued, dumping of phenol imported from Japan, South Korea, the U.S. and Taiwan will possibly continue in China, and may again hurt the domestic industry. So such anti-dumping measures will continue for another five years for phenol imported from Japan, South Korea, the U.S. and Taiwan.
