FUZHOU, China, March 11 (UPI) -- Local authorities in
Fuzhou, China, said five children were killed Thursday morning in
the collapse of an outdoor wall at a primary school collapsed.
A spokesman with the publicity department of the Fuzhou city
committee of the Communist Party of China told Xinhua four of the
children died at the scene of the Jinsha Central Primary School wall
collapse.
A fifth child died after being transported to a hospital
along with two other injured children, the spokesman told China's
official state-run news agency.
The condition of the two surviving injured children was not
released.
Xinhua said the deadly incident in China's Fujian province
is being investigated by police.
